Deeper, longer, quieter

Hi, your esthie here to check on you … and your breath. Of course you’re still breathing and yet, let’s take some time to realllllllly engage with our breath and reap the many rewards, including:

  • Mitigating our stress response
  • Lowering our rapid heart beat
  • Improving our blood pressure
  • Boosting our circulation to relieve head aches, sinus pressure and back/neck pain
  • Delivering nutrients to our organs and tissue (which means our skin get a glow)

We didn’t have a self-paced breathing retreat this month. But I’ve made the previous two available to you anytime, online. Use them as a 5-day re-focus or select a breathing exercise to use as needed and I’ve attached links below. Just click on the first image for Session 1; the second image for Spring Breathwork.

Y’all know that I walk a LOT … both in the city and on our many Cali trails (not so dry & dusty this year!). So, I’ve really gotten into doing breathing exercises while I’m walking to support my mental and physical health. Nothing beats breathwork at the beach on my stroll home after a wondeful day in the studio to reflect on my gratitude for the day and transition into *home life*.

Breathwork, walking, giving ourselves time and space are accessible ways to care for our selves (and FREE, to!). Let me know how these techniques are working for you and which you dig best. And, what you need for our next breathwork sesh.
