I beg of you: Please LED

There is gonna be a lot of ”do this in the New Year” coming at you over the next month, including from your esthie bestie, moi!

Here’s my first pitch: put Celluma LED appointments on your schedule for 2023. If you don’t schedule it in, you’re gonna get busy and you won’t have time. So, let’s just get these appointments on the books now.

You can do them every week, every 2 weeks, every month, every other month, every quarter, before a vacay, before a big event. Each treatment is compounding so all of these ways to do it work!

And, sometimes doing the most for your skin is actually the easiest thing to do. LED light therapy sessions are relaxing, non-invasive, painless, can benefit all skin types and require no recovery time (outside of a little time to wake up from the lovely nap!).

  • Maskne giving you chin breakouts?
  • Too much of everything causing your facial redness to flair?
  • End-of-year wrap-up making you clench your jaw so much you need some pain relief?
  • Just wanna look fresher with smoother skin for the hollydaze?

Multi-award winning Celluma works wonders in 30 minutes a sesh (just this year Celluma won awards from American Spa, LNE, Skin Inc and Well Spa 360).

When made & used correctly, LEDs promote a natural, photobiochemical reaction similar to the process of plant photosynthesis. The energy delivery by LEDs has been shown to accelerate the repair and replenishment of damaged cells while stimulating collagen to give your skin a firm, smooth luminosity.

Add it on to any Fab Facial to majorly enhance the benefits to your skin, microcirculation and lymphatic system.

(Yep, those are LED grow lights on my plants. That’s how NASA discovered the benefits of LEDs on tissue)

I get this question everrrrrrryyyyy day at be well {groomed!}: do LEDs really work?

Short answer: Hell yeah they do!
Longer answer: not all LEDs are created equally.

There is a LOT of crap out there. Sorry, the fakes and dups that don’t work are the things I detest about my industry.

Years ago I did my research and over time, discovered the best in the market: Celluma by BioPhotas.

Celluma is the all-in-one multi-award winning LED therapy proven to treat many issues that you are dealing with, including:

  • Diminshed local blood circulation
  • Inflammatory acne vulgaris
  • Muscle & joint stiffness
  • Muscle tissue tension
  • Muscle & joint pain
  • Muscle spasms
  • Wrinkles
  • Arthritis

My clients have also had success treating acne mechanica, eczema, rosacea, eye styes, facial redness and more.

Red Light Therapy Pros: Increased Collagen Production

One of the reasons for all those wrinkles, fine lines, and joint pain issues is due to low levels of collagen. Collagen is the main structural protein found in your skin and other connective tissue. Collagen is literally what holds our body together.

Glue that Holds the Body Together

Fibroblasts make collagen fibers, so it stands to reason that the more, and healthier, fibroblasts we have in the skin, the more and better collagen fibers are made.

And as we all know, collagen synthesis and maintenance is the bedrock of anti-aging. Increased fibroblast activity is just one of the health benefits of LED red light therapy.

Healthy collagen levels are what give us a glowing complexion, firm skin, strong nails, dense bones, and healthy hair. It is also essential in keeping muscles, joints, and tendons in healthy working order.

And so, to wrap this up, with a holiday bow

Whether you’re looking to relieve chronic pain, diminish those under eye wrinkles, or eliminate acne that just won’t go away, the benefits of LED light therapy impact a variety of health issues. Once you understand how low-level light therapy works to positively impact your body at the cellular level, you can begin to understand just how versatile and safe a treatment option it really is.

Much like plants, scientific research has shown that human bodies can absorb particles of light (photons) and transform that light energy into adenosine triphosphate (ATP), the form of energy needed to power metabolic processes, improve cellular performance, and encourage tissue repair and regeneration. Modern light therapy utilizes three types of wavelengths; Blue, Red, and Infrared. Blue and Red light therapy provide great aesthetic benefits such as acne treatment and increased collagen production, helping to achieve the signature youthful glow people associate with light therapy facials. Celluma gives you all three wavelengths on every setting. Light therapy for whole-body healing… isn’t that brilliant?

Get the same professional treatment used by Drs, acupuncturists, chiropractors and estheticians … you will LOVE it and so will your skin!

PS: you will have the best sleep of your life, too!
