Hellooooo from my first week completely away from Facebook, IG, Twitter, Post et al. Since I’m doing the 5-Day Breathwork for heart healthy February, I decided to also purposefully choose to take a month away from all social media.
I primarily log into my socials from my iPad. And the reports are in: my screen time on my iPad went down 19%. I am startled; nearly 1/5 of my iPad time was connected to social media.
As I’ve mentioned before, I studiously curate my socials. I have intentional reasons for using each medium. I block or mute anyone, any time, as needed. And it turns out, all of this specificity takes time.
As you might have guessed, this intentional fast was a goal for 2023. It will feel fantastic to put a check mark on ye ol’ goal list.
How am I spending my new found time? Good question! Here’s what I’ve got, one week in:
I researched and found a superb, new 6-week facial massage course that focuses on giving me skills as a master esthetician to Lift * Sculpt* Define your visage while working with your facial muscles, lymph & fascia.
Did I learn much of this in esthetics school? You bet; but hey, it’s been a minute. And I even revisited a LOT of this working toward my master gua sha certification two years ago. I believe in ABL (always be learnin’). And, this course is a perfect building block in my education plan as I continue to work with the Osmosis, Diamond Glow, Neurotris and Sorella education teams.

I wrote the scripts and emails for the 5-Day Breathwork Program.
Are you in? I can’t wait to share these exercises and tips with you. Feels good to put my 20 year yoga, nutrition, mindfulness and skincare journey to work.
Just shoot me an email and I’ll add you to the list!
I got back on the hiking trail.
Yesterday, a client and I bagged Los Liones, a trail I’ve hiked many times but WOW, with the all this rain, the hills are literally alive. My booty, knees and toes are all a little cranky today … always a great sign that work was done.

What’s new with you? How is your skin feeling? How can I help? Thank you for stopping by; can’t wait to see you in the studio!
