Did you know UV damage is the #1 factor in skin aging? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
And, seriously, it’s summer summer summertime; ya gotta #useprotection⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Here are my Top 10 Tips:⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1. Use physical blocking SPFs only. These are better for you, your endocrine system and our beautiful waters + the beings that live there.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2. Apply your physical blocking SPF at least 15 to 30 mins before you head outside.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
3. Reapply SPF every 2-3 hours and more frequently if you’re sweating or in the water.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
4. Avoid direct sun at peak times when you can (peak = 11am-3pm this time of year). ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
5. Get your Vitamin D before 11am or noon when you can. Your thighs are a great area to expose; lots of juicy circulation.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
6. Wear a big ass hat when you go out … and consider SPF clothing when you can.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
7. You don’t need more than SPF 30 or 40 … anything higher is mostly marketing.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
8. Get yourself a fab cleanser to remove the day’s debris, including your SPF which is designed to sit & stay on the surface of your skin. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
9. When you’re able, invest in professional treatments that boost your skin’s barrier and protect your skin from UV damage including: dynamic microcurrent and LED treatments.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

10. Skin health is full body health so as always: stay hydrated and eat the rainbow, cut down on processed foods and try to get some raw meals into your diet.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
