Real talk: work, life, family, romance, partners … all wonderful. Absolutely wonderful. And, keeping them all in harmony can be a LOT.
I recently attended the Osmosis 15 Year Anniversary & Symposium. I arrived exhausted, a tad cynical, and slightly disconnected from my visions for both my life and my business. I left cared for, rested, enthused, enriched, smarter, more passionate and ready to rumble. I cannot wait to build on this renewed enthusiasm and expertise for skincare and wellness to deliver exceptional results to each of my clients.
It had been over 10 years since I last personally attended a spiritual, business, me-building retreat. Too long!
If you spend time with me, you know I am consistently attending workshops and education seminars. Those are necessary, educational and enriching. But they are somewhat silo’d in the information format.
Dr. Ben Johnson, our Chief Educator Renee, and the entire Osmosis team did something different for us in Destin … more like Education + (if you’re caught up on Succession then wink wink).
Are you due for a retreat? Ready to fill the well?
Here’s a handy *life guide* I was introduced to years and years ago by Tony Robbins: The Wheel of Life (you can click over to Mind Tools to use their worksheet and wheel template). Like Dr. Ben’s Skin Map that I use in the studio, the Wheel works as a guide toward wellness.
And, once you have some information (in this case, where you’re possibly putting too much focus and losing your even wheel shape leaving you with a bumpy path), you can devise the solution.
There are vast reasons why we get off track. For me, I think I enjoy my work so much, I was deriving the majority of my satisfaction from that. Awesome for a minute; but over a long time, I was left lacking in other areas (outdoor time, spiritual awareness, time with the Hub).
Now that I’m rejuvenated, I’ve got to spend some time figuring out what I next need.
How about you? Whats new for your journey? How do you keep your inspo well filled?
