Today I participated in a virtual Whiteness at Work summer series, mod 1 of 4. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
TL;DR —> I have work to do.
I’m crazy inspired & still analyzing what I heard … focusing on Racial Equity over equality. How anti-blackness is used to explain all the things that cause Black People’s suffering & death. How white people are socialized that comfort is a value. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Per direction, I’m gonna slow down & continue to listen and then take the right action.
This workshop is for larger organizations so I was extremely fortunate to attend as the owner of a micro-sized biz with one employee (me).
