Hiiii, it’s your Esthie Bestie reminding your to wash your makeup and skincare brushes. And it’s easy to do! Just some warm water plus your favorite cleanser will do the trick.
I like to use Sorella Apothecary’s Orange You Jelly or Osmosis MD’s Gentle Cleanser. You can grab them at the store. While you’re there, check out Sorella’s magic brush … amahhhhzing for applying their Tinted Dew Drops or your fave base.
Fill a glass 1/2 way with warm water. Apply 1/2 pump of your fave cleanser. Swirl your brushes around to work off the makeup. If you used them for a *spirited* Halloween, you may need to let them soak. I wash my skintone tinted brushes separately from those brushes I use for bright eye colors. And I do my lipstick brushes by themselves (you know I love those long-lasting pigments!).
Rinse in warm water as well (not hot because that might melt any glue used in the structure of your brush). Then wrap the clean brushes in a dry wash cloth to remove excess water. Reshape the ends of the brushes and let’em dry. Voila!
